I am interested in getting a HK DVD22. I read that it decodes DD but just does DTS Pass-Through, and I have Onkyo tx-sr502 which does decode DTS. On to my question, is it better to get a DVD Player with DTS decode instead of passthrough or does it not really make a difference. Also, will this DVD player be able to give me Dolby Digital EX and DTS ES?
Thanks!

i would suggest making one connection from dvd to onkyo coax or optical and using the onkyo bultin decoders save the multi in for a dvda sacd player and the dd-es and dts-es i am not quite sure on
