I have 'wavy horizontal lines' on my TV Screen. I disconnected all other appliances and put on the TV only, but the problem persists. I plugged in the TV in several other sockets at home but the lines still appear on the screen.
My broadband supplier provides me a Decoder which is connected to my TV through cable. The Decoder itself is connected to my broadband modem through cable.
My TV brand is Maxsound (Cannot find the model)..
I switched on the tv only (without antenna or decoder or dvd connected etc) and the horizontal lines still appear.
Around two months ago, I installed a new broadband service. But two weeks later, the horizontal lines began to appear. Yesterday, I switched off all electrical appliances one by one to find the source but no results.
Also, my modem is found just behind my tv, with only a wall seperating the two objects.
