A buddy gave me his Samsung HLR5067 tv because after he replaced the lamp once, he used it for about 5 months.
Then one day the tv wouldn't turn on.

Here are the symptoms.
* I hear the welcome chime and fans begin to spin
* I think I hear a low hum coming from the color wheel
* If you're facing the rear of the TV looking into the parts
Towards the right side I hear a click which I think is coming from the white electronic board
* The TV then seems to do start over the process from the welcome chim.
* The lamp never lights
* At the end of the cycle all 3 led notifications are blinking
Standby/Lamp/Timer

What I have done
I have replaced the lamp
I have replaced the ballast
I have replaced the color wheel
I tried resetting the lamp counter or whatever (Mute,1,8,2,power)
The blue switched is being held down

After each replacement the problem never deviated.

I've been reading a ton of old posts here about similar problems but they aren't exactly this one. I get ZERO video from the tv.
Some people said that you should see the ballast spark or something like that? I don't.

It seems TO ME as the problem is failing after that 1st click coming from the white board on the right side of the tv. But who knows.

Any ideas what else this could be?

How much did all this cost for a TV that does not work? Even if you get it up and runnuing you see all the problems that are posted here how long will it last. Cut your losses and get a Panasonic Plasma.

Casey is on the right track.
DLP, of which I think Mitsubishi is the last new seller, is a money sink technology.
My neighbor's DLP is going south and I recently took my Sony RPTV out of service, too.

If you are dead-set on fixing this, find a manual and see what the 3 lamps blinking signals.
Did you notice corrosion on any of the lamp leads? Any crimped connections? I always told people to replace those wires when replacing the lamp.
