I have Akai Japan Premium Public server and 2 private servers running right now on one sonicview receiver with the SV Lan. Another really cool features is the file download are done directly from the receiver. You don't have to go to a forum to download files anymore.

1. Network Download - This allows you to download the newest bin file directly from your receiver while connected to the Internet. This makes it very easy for users, installers and support. You can also roll back to an older file but only ones made by Akai Japan.
2. Faster connection & bin automatically updates the SV Lan even if you have an ihub/newlink. No need for wiznet anymore!
3. Fixed 97w & other update errors that were somehow not removed with the last bins.

Wonder if this is only good for a period of time like a few months then we will have to BUY another whatever_they_named_it to get TV from the next SV_TEAM. I don't trust what it claimed two years support after paying for the S/N or the new dongle anymore. Like we all know the N3 crack will never be out if IKS is still alive today.
You forgot to mention how many SV support teams have been changed these four years especially fast changing after IKS appeared and how they dropped support on iHub, newlink and you have to buy a SVLan or a SN in order to continue on enjoying the SV boxes. Yes, they added the P$ feature on more and more FTA boxes. It is all about the money. Collect and run away.
You are right Paul, all of them need money to stay in business. It has been rocky during the IKS times but many got use out of their sonicview receivers long before IKS was around. Even if someone bought a ihub and got it converted to a SV Lan still 3 times cheaper then having to buy a new receiver. They could have sold a new receiver like everyone else and made people pay $199 or more. I personally like the low costs others may want a new toy.

do you have any idea what you are talking about. You can't use a Sonicview I-hub number 1 or Sonicview I-hub number 2 or Sonicview I-hub number 3 or Sonicview I-hub number 4, the SV Lan
with a Kbox, or CNX, etc. You can use a CNX and a Nfusion and many other receivers with a NFPS subscription. THE SV LAN works only with Sonicview receivers

All ihub's/newlinks can be converted to sv lan for free and they all work. New SV Lans work with Akai Japan Public server out of the box ihub/newlink conversions will need a serial number upgrade. However all will work with multiple private servers.

The First DISH Action and the Second DISH Action are related because the defendant in the Second DISH Action, Christopher Whitcomb, is a former employee of Sonicview USA, Inc. ("Sonicview") (a named defendant in the First DISH Action), and a Sonicview dealer who was served with Judge Lorenz's preliminary injunction order in the First DISH Action. Mr. Whitcomb is also the cousin of Roberto Sanz, Sonicview's CEO and an individual defendant in the First DISH Action. Further, the devices at issue in the forthcoming motion for preliminary injunction in the Second DISH Action (ie, the SV_Lan and NewLink) operate in the same manner as the iHub device that Judge Lorenz has already enjoined in the First DISH Action. Accordingly, assigning both cases to Judge Lorenz will effect a saving of judicial effort and resources.
