lroy tipit....... What is the difference between PAID IKS SERVER AND TRUE PRIVATE IKS SERVER?
There are commonly 3 types of IKS server setups we connect to.
First and preferred would be that of a true "private server" which is one setup by a small group of friends or family and you would never learn about such a server here or most anywhere on the web. A member purchases a legit sub and they share the costs and the CW's (control words).
Next would be a "public server" and is open to all that have the ip and port number along with the appropriate info to pass authentication with the server (mac addy and serial) or (user name and pass) or both. Some public servers work better than others and researching before deciding on which is best is a must.
Last and least preferred is that of the "paid servers". Paid servers offer many of the same package channels as a legit providers package and most work well for the price you pay. Some offer more or less than others and researching before you pay is a must. Two things that make a "paid server" bad are that they can close up shop at anytime and your out what ever you paid for it.Next is that you need to be very confident in who's server your connecting to. The provider could easily setup their own server and collect ip's at will.
