New member Username: LoaPost Number: 10 Registered: Aug-07 | The VS Pro is stuck in boot. So to load v107 file, I guess I have to use a serial cable and an appropriate loader. Question: What that loader will be and can I find that loader at the web address given by you ? Thanks again, Nydas. |

Diamond Member Username: NydasPost Number: 20522 Registered: Jun-06 | Just Shuvoo Your troubles may not be over yet. Download the two PDFs from there. From what you have told us, You may be in a lot more trouble. If you cannot get the viewsat loader to load using a serial cable, you may have to solve a hardware problem. Best of luck. |
Bronze Member Username: LoaPost Number: 13 Registered: Aug-07 | Nydas, you are so very right. I still have not found a loader for serial cable loading. satfix is blocking my log in attempt. I saw somewhere that v107 is a .all file and can be loaded with a USB memory stick. Any idea how that can be done when my VS PRO is stuck in boot. Will appreciate your thoughts on that. |

Bronze Member Username: LoaPost Number: 14 Registered: Aug-07 | Doreen, it does not look like this site is free. But on different topic, a number of VS Pro receivers (including mine) are stuck on 'boot'. I tried loading factory bin (both serial cable and USB methods) without success. Then Nydas pointed me to info about possible power supply problem (bulged or leaky capacitors). When I opened mine, there was no such capacitors. These receivers were bought only 3 years ago ! |
