I did everything the user guide said to do but my videos would not record on ANY type of disc. Finally, I purchased a Sony VRD-MC6 multi-function DVD recorder to hook my camera up to and create DVDs that way, except that since my camcorder is not Sony, I need a "special sony cable" (DV (ilink) cable) so that the recorder can read my camera. I ordered it over a month ago and the kind people at sony failed to inform me that its been on backorder for 2 months and they cannot tell me when they might be receiving them. So now I wait (not so patiently) and in the meantime I keep buying more memory cards to capture my baby's milestones on video and it's getting expensive. Can somebody please help?? Thanks in advance, Emily |

I also don't understand why you bought the Sony VRD-MC6. You should have bought the Canon DW-100 DVD burner device which is specifically designed to work with your Canon. http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/camcorders/consumer_camcorders/d w_100 The directions on how to burn your videos to DVD using the Canon DW-100 can be found at http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/camcorders/flash_memory_camcorder s/fs100#ServiceAndSupport Good luck! |
