Wednesday, December 08, 2010 - 03:16 GMT Okay, I'll play. I've been thinking about getting satellite TV, but who wants a TV that orbits the Earth? How do you see it? Thought about cable TV, but I'm not sure I want a TV that is round and only 1/4" in diameter. Then my wife suggested high def. I said "Really? You want a TV that hangs from the ceiling and can't be heard?" She said, "No! High definition!" I said "I think our set is defined enough. It couldn't fit the definition of a TV any better if it tried." I used to dance on TV till my wife yelled at me for scratching up the top of the set. We got a blu-ray player. I think Sony forgot to include the Han Solo action figure! How else are you going to play blu-ray? Tech support had no idea what I was talking about!

Wednesday, December 08, 2010 - 04:41 GMT Thanks Virus! My neighbor is an astronaut. He couldn't understand why he couldn't watch satellite TV in space. I used to drive a Mercury. A big car named after a tiny planet. My neighbor has a Saturn. Tiny car named after a big planet. The neighbors just got satellite and a dog. They're now in a tail spin! Special offer: Get satellite today and get a year supply of Orbit gum free!

Sunday, December 12, 2010 - 04:10 GMT I was always prone to the wood era as opposed to the brass and glass. More warmth and character IMO. Not to mention the price and longevity of the design. Trust me, I've designed and built 4 bars thus far and have had zero complaints.

Monday, December 13, 2010 - 13:15 GMT Thanks Doreen & Chevy! I currently live in South Texas. I spent 30 yrs in NJ, prior to that, I moved around the U.S. a lot. Making gold was just a matter of responding to things people said to me and interjecting here & there. There was no goal in mind, it just happened. However, I must concede that when I realized I was close to it, I made a point of making post #1001 in audio where a certain individual, who only posts in audio, would see it just to annoy that person.

Monday, December 13, 2010 - 13:48 GMT Thanks Doreen! What's up with all the nicks? The person in audio made a point of bringing my post count to everyone's attention as if my posting habits are any of his business and trying to critique my posts. The fun bunch should be thankful that he stays out of here. Then again, I doubt he'd last very long in here. He couldn't possibly handle what Chevy, Knish, Greg and some others would undoubtedly do to him.

Monday, December 13, 2010 - 14:07 GMT Actually, if he came in here, Plymouth and friends would probably join the fun bunch. You'd have a common enemy. Plymouth doesn't like him either and his been fighting with him for years. In fact he's the one Plymouth stood up to on my behalf. Everyone else in audio thinks he's the king of knowledge of all things audio and then some. His nick: Jan Vigne (pronounced "vine"). User name: Jan B Vigne. The B probably stands for Bozo the Clown. I don't think he'll venture in here though.
