Lot more safer then IKS and no down time. whether I own or renting the receiver there is no law that says I can't lend one of my receiver to a friend, relative or neighbor My brother is sharing with one of his neighbor. I do see few draw backs depends on how many people will be in the sub sharing. the number of people the larger the house what I'm trying to say is the person that puts the account in his or her name will also need two things [1] good credit [2] a large house. How can you explain to the installer when he comes to your home to install lets say 12 receivers in a 2 or 3 bedroom home. Also to save the subs time you will need to know what satellite you are pointed too. the other way out that I see is go to a store like Best Buy or Radio Shack, tell them the Dish and the wiring is already there and you only need the receivers If you are an IKS user, they can bust the server the server can make a deal to save his azz and gives them all the end users IP. In Sub-sharing the account holder is paying rent for the receivers the only thing the provider can do is close the account The only person that I know that has lot of experience with Sub-sharing is a member here. |

DTV is very liberal about lots of receivers on accounts...18 is higher than most, but 8-10 is common..and if ya get a rep who gives ya a lil grief, call back and get another one.. |
