We have a Samsung HLN4365WX/XAA that went out on us about a year ago. We received the "dreaded 3 flashing lights" & according to the manual, replaced the bulb. It worked for about 2 weeks and stopped. Returned the bulb (less restocking fee, postage, etc). We did a lot of research and, decided that the cost of TV repair diagnosis & cost of parts that may or may not work was not worth the money output. So, we stored it in a back room and kind of forgot about it. It still bothers me that we paid so much for this TV and after 6 or 7 years, it's kapput! Now, getting to my question. We're trying to decide whether to send it to recycle heaven but, before we do, are there any parts that we can salvage and recoup some of our initial outlay? It seems like we should be able to use parts from the usb / pc / S video inputs & such. I have no tech knowledge at all - It just bothers me to just junk it.. Any help appreciated
