Silver Member Username: ChevroletPost Number: 175 Registered: Sep-10 | You can Rename or Delete the satellites check your Users Manual for instructions pull up LyngSat Astra 1G at 31.5°E Astra 1H/1KR/1L/1M at 19.2°E Edit the (TPs) transponders Scan one Bird @ a time. |
Diamond Member Username: NydasPost Number: 20076 Registered: Jun-06 | jiri: astra1, 19.2E 1. If it is not listed in your receiver, it does not matter. 2. You must have the appropriate Dish and LNB for 19.2E 3. Your dish must point to19.2E and you should see green signal at at least 70% stregth. 4 A. Using any unused sat name, you can do a Blind scan. 4 B. You can add a new sat name in your list of Birds and do a Blind Scan. |

Bronze Member Username: UsdocPost Number: 28 Registered: Feb-05 | thanks guys, but any of your suggestions are not working I have a appropriet LNB and dish, pretty good signal, try to use a blind scan but it is NOT finding any TP or channels. maybe I do something wrong?? I have questioned some guys here in europe, they told me I need to download bin from computer and generally is too complicated. I am not a comp or sat freek, therefore, still have a problem. using european receivers is no problem, I´d like to try the neosat to load. |

It will just take some time for you to get familiar with Neosat and how the whole system works. First off, do you see any of the satellites you need already loaded in your neosat? If you don't, you should be able to add a new satellite and add the necessary TPs (possibly from lyngsat.com) manually. You should be able to scan afterwards and get all channels you need. Now if your able to view any channels (because of encryption, etc) is a completely different issue. Your best option is to find a forum (ideally one which many users located in Europe) and ask there. This is not a difficult task. All you need is a bin or a TP file list and need to get it loaded onto your neosat. If i'm not mistaken, the neosat should have a USB port so it will be extremely easy to load. |
