DVD/VCR Set Up

On the timer recorder [Magnavox DVD/VCR] The programming numbers, only go to 125. With Dish The number go a lot higher. Can I get around this? Or will this require I get a diffrent type recorder to go with my Dish hook up? I just installed Dish,not very good with the remote yet. I tried Dish help,no help there. Thank You

David Massey Gold Member Username: Samijubal Post Number: 4290 Registered: Jul-04	Posted on Thursday, September 30, 2010 - 09:58 GMT You can't get satellite channels with a DVD recorder tuner. Connect the sat to the DVD with s-video or RCAs and use the sat receiver to get channels.
