BellTV will be launching BellTV On Demand (OD) as of September 16th. This service will be available to new and existing customers with 9241/9242 receivers (only). On Demand content will include 10 newly released HD movies at any time. Rental fee includes unlimited access for the duration of the 24 or 48 hour rental period.
This service is available in English and French.
Eligibility: - All new and existing BellTV customers with the HD PVR MPEG-4 receiver models (9241/9242). No other recceivers eligible at this time. - Nimiq 2 required - To order from the 9241/9242 EGP, receiver must be connected to an active phone line or Internet.
Still it is not satisfactory. If I have some super software that I use they can download it if I am connected to internet. Perhaps phone line is OK if I have control over when I order a Movie or program
Plymouth: What I am worried about is that if Bell has the ability to snoop inside my network and maybe the whole computer, a rogue employee could take advantage of it.
