New member Username: JaredtrompPost Number: 1 Registered: Oct-10 | Before I start checkig all the posts here, I want to ask if anyone who has an old rear projection mitsu, 55809 or some sort of that , The picture is now "bending" or perhaps what someone on this site refers to as a "bowtie" affect... Is this common and is it a do it yourself fix>??? the tv has been moved alot and with a slight tap on the top of it,, it then goes away...???? any one else having this or had it ???? |

Bronze Member Username: Zobeii77Pakistan Post Number: 21 Registered: May-11 | I got this from a source, saying: You have a convergence problem, if it happened after you moved it around then its either broken solder joints around the convergence modules(stk392-110) or it is a physical problem. You could take the front screen off and see if the mirror inside has shifted.Also take the front and rear covers and look inside for anything that might have moved or cracks near components mounted on heathsinks. hope this will help.
