Any PC can have Linux installed as an ADDITIONAL operating system using latest Ubuntu or Kubuntu. Ubuntu can run completely under Windows. Ubuntu can run completely with Windows. Ubuntu and Kubuntu as the easiest to intall and come prepackagerd with Open Office (a windows Office compatible software) and Microsoft windows type of Windows interface, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc. etc. A lot of software written for Linux is free. So if you get Ubuntu and install it, you have nothing to lose. I would suggest you instal it to run from a separate directory in Windows - not completely separate as in another drive till you get more familiar. The learning curve for Linux is a little steeper than for Microsoft Windows, but the rewards are bigger. |

Using firfox. somebody told me to remove all cookies and try and I did and it worked - that was a couple of months ago, but yesterday I tried that and it does not work.
