Supposedly they are working on servers and adding more channels. They claim to be adding many internationals and PPV channels. Who knows what the real store is

I suspect they popped up for few months to help some dealers sell their overstocked receivers. Probably by now, this is done. To make new money, they shut the IKS down. They hope the fed up owners of Nfusion receivers buy the private EKS for monthly fee. Everyone that has bought a receiver may feel obliged to go with them.

Everything I wrote is total speculation and I do really hope I am wrong and the IKS service will come up again. Time will tell.

c/p Posted on dummy chat

Wanted to clear up the situation,

nfusion is in the process of adding more channels,

something went wrong and the sd channels are all gone

this is something that was anticipated that may happen so that is why you see the staff was posting it is a server maintenance

It is a server issue and being worked on at the moment,

other than waiting for the channels to come back,
enjoy the site

the HD channels should not be effected as just the SD channels were effected.

It is a bummer but part of the growing pains that we go thought to get more.

Do not beg for the channels as they will come as fast we they can.

We are aware of what the users want and will do the best to get them.

heres another update

first, I would like to express how sorry we are to anyone that has no tv due to nfusion's decision.

You may want to know where is nfusion and the answer is they are doing their best to ensure long lasting tv.

An issue was found before it could case damage and nfusion decided to shut down the SD servers.

The HD servers do not have this issue and that is why you should still have HD channels.

nfusion is looking long term so for all those posts about nfusion leaving, they are just rumors

If they wanted to go, you would not have an update from me and the HD channels would not be working.

nFusion made a decision and stands by it and hope that in the end, you will be much more happier to have tv instead of taking a chance.

Also you need to understand that this is a dynamic situation where the other side will keep on trying to stop us and things take time if you want it to last.

So when you see other boxes disappearing and nfusion still remains even thought you know they are the largest target, you will understand that it takes a lot of work and time to make sure there are no security leaks.

There is no time line as it may be days more for service to resume however it will not be a long period (days or maybe week not months)

Just wait for the channels to pop up and other than that, I hope you are having a good summer and enjoy dummychat.com!

In short, they are trying to arrange another server, against heavy odds and attacks from other sources.

See my post and read further there, how after all the efforts, some service providers may block them.

Today, www.iksprivateserver.com and www.nfusionprivateserver.com, hosted on servers in Germany, were seized by NagraStar, obtaining valuable data about the operators of the website and customer data related to purchasers of the illegal service.

Major Website Piracy Ring Shut down & Taken over
March 28th, 2010

On March 10, 2010, NagraStar LLC, DISH Network L.L.C. and EchoStar Technologies L.L.C. filed suit against Robert Kluver [aka DishTester], Leona Broda, and www.currentbins.com for, among other things, engaging in piracy of DISH Network programming, distributing pirate software, and for their involvement in IKS piracy.

The United States District Court for the District of Maryland entered a temporary restraining order against Kluver, Broda and www.currentbins.com and ordered the United States Marshals Service to seize defendants' computers, piracy-related materials, receivers, and related equipment. The seizure was successfully executed on March 23, 2010.

Operation of defendants' websites has also been restrained by the court and defendants have transferred the below websites to plaintiffs.‪ ‪

Kbox
July 12th, 2010

In March 2010, DISH Network, NagraStar and Bell TV obtained and executed civil search orders and interim injunctions against the principal players behind KBox-brand FTA receivers including 1 Joshua Kim a.k.a. Kortronix Inc., the originator of the KBox, 2 Nhan Tran d.b.a. Transat Electronics and www.transatelectronics.ca, the exclusive distributor of the KBox in Canada, and 3 Hisham Omran and Fona Dish Networking, a KBox dealer, all of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The lawsuit also named Van Tran of Transat Electronics Brampton, another KBox dealer. The execution of the orders resulted in the seizure and shutdown of all KBox Internet Key Sharing servers intended for illegal use of KBox-brand FTA receivers. The orders also resulted in seizure of numerous KBox FTA receivers and KHub "dongles", and the shutdown of the piracy web sites www.hellosat.com and www.kboxteam.com. Following the execution of the orders, several defendants entered into settlement agreements with the Plaintiffs that included cooperation and permanent injunctions preventing them from dealing in any way in FTA receivers in the future. This is another major victory to prevent satellite television piracy in North America.

tvkeyz
July 29th, 2010

This week, NagraStar continued its initiatives aimed at preventing piracy by seizing domain names www.tvkeyz.com, www.tvkeyzforums.com, and www.tvkeyznews.com. NagraStar's initiative follows the United States Federal Government's recent seizure of domestic and international domain names of popular pirate websites (http://www.ice.gov/pi/nr/1006/100630losangeles.htm), including execution of federal warrants for content and servers in the United States and the Netherlands, sending a clear message that so-called "off shore" websites are not beyond the reach of intellectual property laws.
