RCA HD50 plw75 hdmi input problem

Hello all,

The HDMI input (there's only one) seems to have died on my RCA HD 50 ... the other inputs work fine ... I have changed the cable to a known working one and switched satellite receivers (directv HD) and eliminated them as the problem.

Any ideas? Is it a difficult repair?
