Check it tomorrow and post it. I'm sure you have wrong lnb.
Also can you be able skew your dish ? You need to skew your dish in order to get both(118/119)

If you have not bought a LNB in the last two years, you do not have suitable LNB for 118. You need a 33" dish and this special LNB, which is only about $20 or less. Buy a dual one for two receivers - the price difference is only about $3.
This LNB will give you both 118 and 119. You can mount your current LNB on an arm and point to 110. Add a disEqC switch ($5-8) if you don't have one and you are all set for three sats. Add a second disEqC and another receiver (when you are ready) and you have the same set up for your bedroom or your neighbour.

vic..when i go to lnb type universal i pick 119 anik 3 and when i do a auto scan i only pick 119 channels

VIC..........try this.......LNB Type set on standard
A) do a Blind or Advanced Scan on EchoStar 7 at 119.0°W

B) Now do a Blind or Advanced Scan on Anik F3 at 118.8°W

If you can Scan Echostar 7, but no Anik F3 it can only
mean that you don't have the combo.LNB or could be defectived.

What LNB you have does make a difference. One of the genric ones I mentioned is differnt from using a Dishpro Plus LNB.
Unless you can give us an idea of the type of LNB you have and few other pieces of information - such as receiver you are using and the BIN, it is going to be diffiecult to get you going.
Do not listen to Whiskey. What you said "when i go to lnb type universal i pick 119 anik 3 and when i do a auto scan i only pick 119 channels" is absolutely compatible with a generic type of LNB meant for 118/119.
The following are the settings for a generic type of LNB.
For 118
LNB type Universal (gives LNB freq 9750 - 10750) or
LNB type Standard (use LNB freq 10600 - 10750)
DisEqC setting will depend upon physical connection of LNB to it I usually use 1 for this type of LNB, because the Echo 7 is usally used with Port setting of 1.
If you can do Blind scan, do it.
Otherwise do a scan all with First TP of 11715. You may also go into Lyngsat and set up all the TPs, and do a scan all.
Then separately set the LNB type as Standard and LNB Freq as 11750. and first TP as 12239 H.
Do a Scan all.

As I said before these instructions pertain to the generic type of LNB. For DPP LNB the situation is different, because you have separate outputs for 118 and 119, so you have to connect to Port 1(Echo 7) and 4(Anik F3)

Also note that some of the genraic types of LNBs give a lot of channels with Universal 2 setting - becomes confusing.

Here's a basic guide that will help you choose the proper LNB for your setup of choice.

DBS / DSS / Circular - LNB's are those used mainly for Echost*r and Nimiq satellites (61.5, 82, 91, 110, 119, 148). They have a LO frequency of 11.250 GHz

FTA / FSS / Linear - LNB's are used for 121, AMC4, Galaxy25 (T5), Galaxy10R, Galaxy3, etc. They have a LO frequency of 10.750 GHz. Note: these satellites require a 30" or larger dish

118 / 118.7 - LNB's are used mainly for 118.8/119 Anik F3 LNBs or 118.7. They have a LO frequency of 10.750 GHz. Note: these LNB's are circular polarization and can also be used for all DBS/DSS type satellites including 61.5, 82, 91, 110, 119, 148, etc

Universal - LNB's are a dual-band LNB often used for satellites in Europe. In North America, the only satellite that requires a universal LNB is Intelsat 9 (PAS9) at 58°W. Universals are a kind of linear LNB and can be used for any linear satellite. They have LO and HI frequencies of 9.750 and 10.600 GHz

Invacom Quad Polar - LNB's are a special type used for mainly for motorized dishes. They are an all-in-one LNB, giving you both circular (DSS) and linear (FTA) polarizations at the same time

REFERENCE SATELLITE SETUP

For Circular Satellites:

61.5W Echo3, 77W Echo4, 82W Nimiq2 (HD), 91W Nimiq1&3, 110W Echo 10/11, 119W Echo7, 121W Echo9, 129W Echo5 (HD), 148W Echo1/2

You need:

Circular LNB, LNB Type = Standard/Single, LNB Freq = 11250Mhz, typically a Smaller 18 to 22 inch dish

For Linear satellites:

63W estrela, 71.8W nahuell, 79W amc5, 91W galaxy11, 93W intelsat6, 95W galaxy 3C, 97W intelsat5, 101W AMC4, 103W AMC1, 105W AMC15, 107.3W Anik, 111W Anik f2, 116.8W Satmex5, 123W Galaxy 10r, 127W Galaxy13

You need:

Linear LNB, LNB Type = Universal/Standard, LNB Freq.= 10750Mhz, typically a 30 inch dish or larger dish

For AnikF3 - 118.7 ---> You need:

Special LO frequency LNB -- LNB Type: Universal (or Standard) -- LNB Freq: 10750 MHz

For Quality Use TP: 11715 Scanable Channels: Clear 1, Encrypted 81 (DN)(HD 19) Minimum dish requirements = 30 inches and above.

You must see it on your LNB:

circular(118W)
Input Frequency Range from 11.70Ghz ~ 12.75Ghz
Output Frequency Range from 950Mhz ~ 2000Mhz

A standard circular LNB:

Frequency Input Freq. Range 12.2 ~ 12.7 MHz
Output Freq. Range 950 ~ 1450 MHz

Use this setting!

118.8W Anik F3

LNB:on
LNB Type: Universal
LNB Freq: 10600
TP Freq:12063 (H)

Check if you get a signal with those setting then align your dish to get the stronger signal and quality.

Try also TP Freq: 12081 (V) and try to get the stronger signal on those 2 TP Freq.!

Do a auto scan with those info!

Tell me which receiver you use?

Tell also if you have in your satellite setting both satellites (118,8W and 119W).

vic, you need to add Anik F3 at 118.8°W
and Transponders to your Antenna set up
then do a Scan.

when you change lnb you have to change settings in your receiver to the type of lnb you are using. so go to menu find dish settings and change lnb type setting

Ok! I missed your post!

Do a scan on 119W with the setting I posted above then after use this setting:

LNB Type: Universal
LNB Freq High: 11250
LNB Low: 10750
It would be(LNB Freq: 10750/11250)

You will get both satellites with 119W

No need to create 118.8W!

If Limesat has a Blind scan available, he does Blind scan of 119 using LNB frequency of 10600.
Then another Blind or regualr scan of 119 using LNB freq of 11250 of Echo 7 sat.

If he does not have a slate for Anik F3 he can also add another Sat and add the TPs for it and then do the regular scan of that sat using 10600 or 10750
The LNB he has is amenable to using Universal 2 setting of 9750-10750 and might work better with that setting.
The way to scan is either e Blind scan (ignoring the TP list) with the dish pointing properly, or a full scan with a full list of TPs in the TP list.

The Echo 7 is scanned using the same LNB with a LNB frequency of 11250

Plymouth says.....No need to create 118.8W!

Whiskey says................I would think that, two birds,
Anik F3 at 118.8°W and EchoStar 7 at 119.0°W
different Orbit location, different transponders
would need two separte Scans.

echo 7 LNB Local- Freq.=11,250 Circular
Anik F3 LNB Local- Freq. = 10,750 Linear

Vics question = I pick 119 but how do i scan 118?

Whiskeys Answer = echo 7 LNB Local- Freq.=11,250 Circular
Anik F3 LNB Local- Freq. = 10,750 Linear

Pltmouths answer = You will get both satellites with 119W
No need to create 118.8W

My question = I thought 118 was all HD channels so wouldn't you need 2 different LNBs? Just wondering.

118 was not all HD channels then No you don't need a special LNB to get HD channels on Dn!

vic LNB can get all channels HD and SD!

HD are available only on dn's 77,110 and 129.
No HD on 119 or 118.
Plymouth is right on 118.8w. Blind scan will get you that, make sure you blind scan the low freq 10750

Vic: Sorry I did not see that you do not have Anik F3 in your list of sats. That is not a problem.

Look at your manual and see if you caN SET UP a new Sat in your sat list. Alternatively use any spare list. I have often used the ANIK F2 list.

Use LNB freq of 10750 LNB type single or Standard.

Insert one TV in the new list - 11715. Do a Blind scan
If this does not work, insert the full list of TPs from Lyngsat. There are 30 TPs then the list of Echo 7 starts. Don't put the Echo 7 TPs.
If you have the full TPlist then do a full scan and not a Blind scan.
You may try Universal setting for LNB type.

Scan Echo 7 separately in the 119 slate using TP freq of 10750 and LNB type standard or single.
