Bronze Member Username: Crispy_fryPost Number: 18 Registered: Aug-09 | c/p How to upload Showme X2 using Wiznet Program on the Sonysat4000 & SpaceStar 500/700 Make sure ShowmeX2 Dongle is connected to the Sonysat 4000 or Spacesar 500s or 700s and plug a network cable from your dongle to your router and Power Supply,toggle Switch ON. 1) Run WIZNET Program (Window XP Base) 2) Reboot the STB and/or the X2 Dongle, wait about 7 seconds and Click - Search- 3) You see Ver 1.3 and the IPS, with the Server IP and Port 90. 4) Normally end users uses the Router, DHCP is selected automatically.. 5) You can upload the new Showme X2 firmware using UPLOAD icon and processing COMPLETE will be done. Hit Serial Tab change SPEED from 9600 to (115200) Continue for next Step WAIT UNTIL PROGRESS BAR SHOW COMPLETE. Now Load SilverSufer Beta file to Sonysat 4000 or Spacestar 500/700 using the Null Modem Data Transfer Cable and the Sonysat Loader V2 for these Receivers Go to MENU Configuration Embedded CAS CAS Mode: IKS Press OK and Exit Place on CH 122 Hit EXIT and Power OFF sonysat from the back of the STB or merely unplug the power cord if there is no Rear Switch. Power On Back go to a channel 122 wait for picture Silversurfer EKE V2.1 ShowMeX2-V2.2 Beta Readme wiznet |
