anyone any help ? i am in process of changing isp and i don't want to end up with rip-off ISP.. i see quite a few people here uses IKS-EKS - it means you must have good unlimited service provider.
Nalin i know that . lately i am having a problem with my present isp. so i am looking for an isp who is relaible -10mbps or so. no cut off etc. if you know one please mention it. thanks. no cap- unlimited access.
Acanac has no cap but they only promise 3-4 mbps. Essentially all of them are either directly from Cable or Bell or retailing Bell or Cable services. So as far as the speeds go they will be what BELL and Rogers have in a particular area. There are a couple of companies charging something like $120 or more per month and giving higher speeds. Also certain areas of major cities do have higher speeds for $50-70/month from regular providers. Try Acnac or Primus. If you are in Montreal try colbaNet
i checked both above provider Acanac and teksaavy and gathering more info. about their reliability-reputation. primus no-no-no-no bad rap. thanks Nalin & Vittu.teksaavy has good deal regarding static ip's.
