I have an HDTV (With HD DVR cable box), Analog TV (With digital cable box), Cable Modem (for digital phone and high speed internet). I have one cable outlet in my apartment from cable company. This connects to a Tripp Lite http://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-HTPOWERBAR10-Protector-Suppressor/dp/B0002QPC3C Home Theater Surge Protector/Suppresor. Will this affect my high speed internet connection. Should I have the splitter before the powerbar and connect one to the modem and the other to the powerbar? What would be the best setup for me (splitters, amplifers)? |

The power par can cause issues with signal and distort your picture, and cause problems on the reverse path causing issues with your internet and vo-ip telephone. Your cable company is responsible for grounding your cable both at the pole, and at the house/apartment. |
