Over the last week, I've looked at hdtv's in sears and best buy. The picture quality on nearly every tv is lackluster. For those of you own hdtv's, does the picture quality improve at home where you're not seeing a feed that's been routed to 20 or 30 tv's? I have seen hdtv's at the homes of friends, but only through dvd (again, an unimpressive picture) and not hdtv feeds. I did see the olympics at best buy a few years ago and it looked good, but it was being broadcast live and shot live by hdtv cameras and systems. Your comments are appreciated.

I was in AmericanTV last night and the lcd hdtv's made by Syntax really stood out. They looked amazing next to everything else. I guess part of the problem with picture quality in the other tv's is the other tv's, not the feed. I looked at Syntax's site and I think I'll wait and see how its upcoming tv's with larger screens are priced and see what their lcos tv looks like.
