CNX Nano2 New dongle, Off Service, won't register

It finds the IP address but whne go to IKS registration, its giving an error and not registering. Any help please? Anyone has similar problem and has the solution?

It is up here friends. I never even upload firmware 1.28 Working great with 1.26. adam try firmware 1.26 lets see what happen... adam, remember you must keep trying registering even you getting error. It will eventually do it Good luck.

But when the server goes down and you try to register it... It will stand up and say Oh no you don't and give you a big nasty CNX error.. But once the server comes back its fine..... Just make sure to have your router set up properly to support your static or ip settings

It says "upgrade with latest software". So, that did not worked. I am trying now to register even though I am getting "error' over and over again. Its frustrating but right. I am doing as per Devin. BTW: is there any loader software that I can use to upload factory bin using RS 232 cable? May be than it will take 1.26 file?

Can you tell me why his receiver will be back if he wait on this channel! Wait on any channels will do exactly same thing, the receiver send a request to server each 12 to 25 seconds, with no regard on the channel you selected! A router and modem reset will be much better thing to get the server!

LK Platinum Member Username: Lklives Post Number: 16126 Registered: Jan-06	Posted on Sunday, February 28, 2010 - 03:56 GMT ~~CNX Nano2 Setup guide~~ There are "issues" today with registrations...but ya don't need it to watch TV...reboots etc have been tried, but the most common solution had been leaving it on channel 200 for an hours or so, to regain TV, if your setup is correct...also its believed that the CNX server may be the culprit....and 1.28 has been working fine..some have TV, some don't..both DN abd bev..this is an intermittent issue with both new and old testers..
