Silver Member Username: Mohamad_obamaTerhan, Iran Iran Post Number: 523 Registered: Oct-08 | This is a C/P From an ADMIN at a Site 1---It has been brought to my attention to pay serious attention to the week of Feb 22... seems a weather forecaster is being released that will be compatible with many vs units... there are other purposes for this unit . 2---It is not called a V-LINK but its called a W-LINK. 3---There was never a V-LINK that was a made up name by someone who wanted to start a rumor nothing more.... also my stated date is date they are expected to land, they may not be ready to ship until late that week. I will allow an advertiser or two to start pre-selling them once I know 100% that they will ship within 5 days. 4---This unit will be attached to the internet.... as that is where it will get the weather information from... just a glimpse of what I saw... all premium, all adult, handful of ppv ... both beverly and charles HD is to be added within a few weeks. 5---Plug and play, no punching in codes, serials, no freezing, 2 2-3 second glitches were seen in 30 hours. 6---I can promise you they wont be $35-$40, If someone offers something called V-LINK RUN! and if they are selling something for VS boxes for $40 RUN!! You want to listen to all these 3rd parties, so be it, get stung your fault. I am here to release information I know. If you buy something called V-link, blame yourself when it doesn't work. 7---Expect 100-110...... the reason for slightly higher price is gonna be quality, and more avail channels, sats, etc... 8---U should expect little to no issues with freezing etc... that has been worked out... I was told to expect 5-10 ppvy to be up...all adult |

It is definitely the easiest of any other I have tried. This is assuming your receiver is already hooked up to tv and satellite dish and ready to go. 1. Flash receiver via USB with your specific receiver sofware, in this case, Ultra-Lite, PFTAUSW-100222UL 2. remove WF from box, attach serial cable to serial side of main body, then connect other side to serial on receiver. 3. Connect your WF to internet via Ethernet RJ45 cable. 4. Attach Power cable to main body, then plug into outlet. 5. Click menu on receiver remote. 6. For static IP: Go to installation => Serial Setup => Network Setup => Network setting => put your IP For non-static IP Go to installation => Serial Setup => Network Setup => Network S/W upgrade => Start Upgrade. Software for WF is upgraded automatically. Once upgrade is done, exit from menu system, it is now functional! Files will be released Shortly!!!!! |
