Credits go to Jvvh5897 who did an experimental zoom feature bin using the pansat 2700, 211 bin which allows you to zoom in on any of the 6 preview channels on channel 100. The experimental zoom feature bin has " Only " been done for the converted 2500 to 2700 receivers that I know of. This is the Pansat 2500 zoom file, source code is included. Tested and working. This file has been tested and does work , I loaded on top of bin 218 w/out any problems ! 1 through 6 key switches channels after hitting the tv/radio button , use the language button to change audio on the six different stations ! *NOTE , these channels chang e around every 4 hours or so , ENJOY The new FTA Fix File. Load the new FTA Fix File and set auto roll to "ON" and wait up to 15 min for the keys to auto roll. Make sure that the Auto Roll feature is turned "ON." You will find the Auto Roll feature in the Menu options. If you don't have the picture after 15min Reboot your system using the switch at the back of the receiver. Click here for the troubleshooting guide. Unzip the file before loading. * Change* ( Main software upgrade ) - AR Fixed Note: - Do a hard reboot (power OFF-ON using rear switch) after every update. |

Having said that, the file would have no connection with the size of your dish. If you are scanning most KU band sats, such as , 61.5W, 110W, 119W, 82W, 91W, you are OK with a 20" Dish or even with 18" dish in most cases. If you want to scan 118.8W, you need both - a 33" dish and a special LNB. This combo is usally available for $60-70 plus shipping. 188.8W has a lot of international channels. |
