I have a couple of friends with diferent players, but they al have the same problem. I can't understand the problem? A DVD player should be able to read a DVD disc containg data? What's the point of having a DVD-player that only reads Data burned on a CD???? |

Anonymous | Ho, ho . . . I've gone trough the web searching for an answer and I've found that app. 50 % of all DVD players plays the "so called" DVD-MP3 format. Unfortunately mine isn't one of them. If I only knew this when I bought the player. Silly me! Does your DVD plays DVD-MP3? check it at the following webbpage: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers |
Infinity Unregistered guest | ok heres the answer home dvd players cannot decode layer3 mp3 files from dvd only from cd hence the "no disc inserted" error. the simple reason is when you insert a dvd in the player it expects to find dvd data such as mpeg, vob etc and not layer3 mp3 files you may have success if you use layer2 files which I believe are a accepted dvd format but I would imagine this would depend on your player. I expect the next generation of dvd player will decode layer3 mp3's so its just a matter of time |
