For the most of USA and Canda a 18" will worked, but if you in Alaska or Prince Edouard Island, you will need bigger as well if you live in Equator country.
Thanks East African Parite Thanks Plymouth I am in Canada. I Have 18" Dish too. I tried to catch the signal and faild . Now I know there is nothing wrong with my dish. Only dish pointing is the problem . I have a friend who has an I phone (Augmented Reality Satellite finder) application installed. I' ll ask his help to point the direction.
