Hello all- I have a Dish 500 system connected to 119 and 110, and I recently moved houses, about 1 mile away from where I was living.
I am fairly novice at this... at my old house I had 110 transponder 7, but not some of the other transponders. All of the 119 channels are the same.
I moved houses, re-installed the system, with a much longer cable due to the viewline, and now i have some of the transponders I didn't have before... but now I have lost transponder 7.
I would understand that I would lose transponder 7, because of the long cable, but why would I gain transponders that I didn't have??? Anyone have any ideas?
How do I do a "blind search" on DISH 500, and is this recommended?
