I am a novice in the field. What is the best choice (value) for a FTA receiver, used to receive free channels on Galaxy 19.

Aldo use any receiver for Galaxy 19. Since most of the channels are heavily compressed, the quality of the feeds is poor, pixelization is high in summary you get about 250 channels with fair to poor images.

You could even try to find find a used FTA receiver and that would do the job.

You can buy used FTA receivers for a low price because of N3.
Go to a CNX dealer who is taking in other receivers in part exchange and he might sell you one for $40/50

Thkx Lanin. In this case, Viewsat Ultra Lite (with some Bonus Items) is a good deal Then. It's from autorized Dealer Viewsat, for 69,99$.

The shiping cost is just 9$ , for 7 lbs.
Thank you, and all experts to give their opinions.

I suggest a Viewsat Ultra because the lite does not have the blind scan, that's why the price is low.

Vs Ultra is one of best true free to air receiver.

No if you use only galaxie 25, you can add the transponder manualy the scan this one, blind scan is very good to found new Tp not listed at Lyngsat or other site.

69.99 is cheap for the Ultra Lite, this receiver is very good.

I don't know the Nano, but Viewsat support very well true FTA, they add new satellites and Tp's.
