Silver Member Username: Cheap_trickPost Number: 117 Registered: Oct-09 | Season's greetings from Total FTA Dear member, The holidays are now here once again and we wanted to take this time in our first ever email newsletter to convey some words of of kindness towards our loyal and appreciated membership. Please take the time to read the message we have for you, if simply because at one point or another in the past four years we provided you with your fixes. Our site is run by a group of dedicated volunteers who have really appreciated the support of all of our members throughout the years, in the good times and the bad, making us the oldest FTA community in existence. As many of you know, our web site has been in renovation for the past few months. It has taken much longer than expected because of different technical issues that we have experienced along the way. We have now however established a very reliable and secure setup with a real offshore hosting provider that can ensure us that no legal issues will ever occur. As you probably already know, at Total FTA we value your safety and pocket and wouldn't take risks with that like other less established web sites do. We have set ourselves up through very elaborate means that provide flawless protection through offshore jurisdictions. Our web site will shortly be back online and operational in its entirety. We have made improvements in all aspects of our community, such as revamping our brand, design, and operations. Files can now be accessed quicker and easier through an easy to use page as opposed to being in the forum as they were before. In the future, we will take more care in maintaining professionalism and member confidence by doing things like only releasing how to guides that are of quality and not hard to follow guides will spelling mistakes like all the other sites do. Through improvements large and small such as the ones we have just mentioned, we hope to provide you with a better place to enjoy your satellite testing experience. Now onto the good stuff. That Nagra 3 stuff. The question that's on everyone's minds. As you probably already know, we've been around since the beginning and are tightly knit with several international groups which work on things like this. It is a fact that a solution is possible, as it has already been released in Europe. It's being worked on by the people behind the big brands, but as with anything of serious financial value, they aren't going to reveal any secrets until it's finally released, which will of course be at Total FTA. Expect for a full working cardless release to be made public sometime by Superbowl. In the meantime, we have chosen to now provide full support for IKS and are now the official release site for even more brands than ever. You should also know that if your dish is down right now, there's no reason it should be, there are several solutions that are working great now. We'll end this little correspondence by telling you about a cool contest we've decided to run for the rest of the month. We'll be giving away a few Sonicview 360 receivers along with modules included. Our contests are always easy to win and anyone who hasn't participated before should consider it. We hope to have you back at our community in the near future so that we can help you get FTA running once again. Have a safe and happy holidays! Best wishes, Total FTA Staff www.totalfta ![]() PS: When you come back to our site you'll have to re-register as we have cleared our database for preventative safety purposes. |

Once the test period is completed, it will be followed by a "grace period" until the Holidays are over. It will be most indicative what awaits for us with the outcome of events. |
