By the same token, anything West of 150W is also not usually accessible. So basically the range between 0-60W and 0-180E and 150W-180W are all inaccessible. At the fringes of these value you may be able to get some signals. |

MaxHD is Turbo HD(1080p) ready with SK-200 add board, and encryption board can be interchange. The only problem is, does it work again with N3, you should wait or if you buy it, this box is a exellent receiver for Free to Air with a motorized dish and a Invacom Linear/Circular LNB QPH-031. Here is the satellite list i get: 15W,22W,30W,43W,61.5W,72W,82W,83W,85W, 87W,89W,91W,93W,95W,97W,99W,101W,103W, 105W,110W,111.1W,119W121W,123W,129W } |

Platinum Member Username: NydasPost Number: 16775 Registered: Jun-06 | Chumley and Plymouth: Thank you for correcting me. I am accepting your information without further investigation. I have had frineds in Halifax area, trying some of the sats mentioned as "Atlantic" in the Lyngsat main page (East of 61W), with varying success, but not in Toronto. To that extent I was wrong in making a statement about whole of North America based on Toronto area. I also found that larger dishes were needed and you were scanning C band mainly. However that was over 2 years ago and my memory is dim about the actual testing in detail.. |

Platinum Member Username: PlymouthCanada Post Number: 11783 Registered: Jan-08 | Nalin For sure from Toronto you will be able to get 22W and higher with a 36". Add a Line Signal Booster help to get it, a good expensive LNB like the Invacom will help too. |
Platinum Member Username: NydasPost Number: 16778 Registered: Jun-06 | Plymouth: with N3 solution coming out "anytime", how can I justify putting up large dishes and buying new LNBs? However, as I drive around, I see a couple of apartment buildings with 6-8 feet wide dishes; perhaps I will vacate my house and live in one of those apartments if the N3 solution is not there soon! |
