Silver Member Username: BernardmiPost Number: 724 Registered: Dec-07 | For the alignment of a TV antenna, just use an old beat-up portable TV. It costs nothing ! Tune in the the station you want to receive. Point the antenna to an approximate direction and turn antenna on each side until you notice a degradation of the signal. When you are through, go in between these 2 points. This is the maximum signal direction for that channel. If the signal is too strong, you can use the reverse side of the antenna to null out any signal. When you have found that spot, turn the antenna 180 degrees to get maximum signal for that station. If you have an HDTV with ATSC tuner, then use the built-in signal strength in your TV menus. |
