Toshiba 32AV502R 32" HD LCD HDTV with Cinespeed - 720p, 60Hz, 10Bit, 2x HDMI, Will this TV support a new digital HD-enhanced cable box from TineWarner, even though the manual states, "ANT/CABLE -- Antenna input that supports analog (NTSC) and digital (ATSC) off-air antenna signals and analog and digital Cable TV (QAM) singles." Will a new digital HD-enhanced cable box offer HD quality picture on HD channels, or does the ANT/CABLE connection only offer as stated?

With HD cable boxes, the TV's antenna input is not used. The signal will be hooked up from the box to the TV via component (three wire) or HDMI.

These days the only reason to use an antenna input is if you want to pick up over the air signals with an indoor or outdoor antenna.
