Hello, i recently bought another property and go there alot, I have direct tv at home and there is a dshnetwork sat. at new place. I think its the super dish, there are no wires hooked up to the box on the back of the dish, can someone please tell me if I can even use this sat. with my direct tv receiver?
Yes you can use this dish for get Direct TV, but the problem is if you took 2 satellites with your old dish, whit this dish you are able to get only 1 satellite, because the dish is not made for get 2 satellites with 4 degree but 9 dgree between each satellites.
Note that you can buy 2 special LNB's and use this dish.
If yo have legal DTV subscription in many cases they will install yo brand new dish antenna at no extra charge Yo have to call DTV and tell them yo have moved Yo can sell the super dish for about $60 on e-bay
DTV and DN dish antennas are not fully compatible So I wouldn't advice yo to use for DTV Unless if yo were getting the basic channels on 101W If that's the case it will require moving the dish
I would just call DTV and ask them to install it for yo However yo are welcome to ask anything else
