First you must buy a 36" motorized dish and a Linear LNB if you want get some true FTA.

Look this site for true FTA list:
http://www.ftalist.com/channels.htm

Few satellites are not in this list like 30W, 22W.

The Viewst Ultra is the best for it, the 2500 power supply is not able to turn a motorized dish.

you will be wasting your money and time.
there is nothing out there free to air
you will be better off with a good UHF/VHF
Roof Antenna.

Plymouth says that....The Viewst Ultra is the best for it, the 2500 power supply is not able to turn a motorized dish.

just another fat lie, my Pansat 2500
has been turning my Stab Rotor Sat HH100
rain or snow for the past four years.

Mr. Sandman

The 2500 is a old receiver with a slow processor and less memory than VS Ultra, if you like this one which is a sh1t and can not add a PID channels, it's your problem.

Idiot!

All in all, what is important is the channels and the type of programming YOU want to watch. If one of the listed sats under FTA has it you are OK.
Make sure you get the right size dish and the right LNB

This is the list for Galaxy 18 at 123W. Kindly post what FTA channels you want to watch and what equipment you have installed.

g**gle capacitor replacement, spend 1/2hr replacing, 1.00 for the 2 caps, and the 2500a is a fine fta receiver! Will drive the motor fine then.
Better than Ariza, for sure.

Tim tim

You are right but you can't add PID channels manualy which is very useless if the provider doesnt give the info to get those channels and your receiver can't scan it.

Very useless for a FTA receiver.

First you say.... the 2500 power supply is
not able to turn a motorized dish.
now you are saying

You are right but you can't add PID channels manualy

Wrong, you can set the PID values to search
After setting the Pid values, press OK key.

Agree you are Very useless for a FTA TV

Yeah, got me there, Plymouth, but I have found it to be a pretty reliable scanner compared to the Panny 250sm. It has always found what I expect it to according to Lyngsat. I'm just cheap and a sentimental fool, I think!
