Double click on the one your referring to. If you don't have the key dd-wrt I believe has aircrack built in or you can get most of the linux applications to run on dd-wrt if you want to get the keys. For me the most time consuming is getting the key, but if anybody has a faster way of doing business for wep I'd love to hear it |

You need to understand basic WIreless networking and be willing to take a chance that you will "BRICK" your router. You have to READ a lot at the DD-WRT website to find out which FIRMWARE FLASH is the correct one for yours (Some routers require 2 - 3 firmware updates before you get the final V24 to work 100%) otherwise your router will become a doorstop along with your obsolete FTA box. READ, READ and READ some more. -> with that being said, most routers allow you to use them as a repeater with the FACTORY firmware (no need to flash w/ DD-WRT) but you will be limited with how and who's wireless network you use. |

Bell anyway offer free wireless router installation for their Internet customers and the first thing they do is to activate encryption. And the password by default is the serial number of the router. A huge number. Not the simple and idiotic password ! And yet, it remains theft of telecommunications. Not from an Internet Provider, from your neighbour !!!! |
