Save the box and take out a Subsciption.
Dish Network is running an add $9.95 for the first 6 months.

6 months from now things could be looking up.

You will be wasting your time moving your dish
to the true FTA Birds.

They will show one of those old movies and
their adds will be longer then the movie.

^^^^ words of wisdom

and the IKS stunt probably won't last long either (4-5 months max).....
its vulnerable both technically & legally

it is no more than a half-assed gimmick to keep selling
some few more boxes...

if you've been in this business for 20+ years,
you know this is like a roller coaster :
sometimes your up..... others your down......

Makes a nice doorstop. Very sturdy.

jvvh, fwank7 and a bunch of other coders, deserve full credit for extending the life of something that should have been dead a long long time ago but it's now time to put the 2500's to rest and move on.

2500 will work on true FTA. When There is a N3 solution, I doubt it will be applied to the Pansat 2500 - not enough memory or too slow or something like that.

set your dish at 97 W, and watch a lot of free TV channels and radio. Your box was designed for this purpose Free To Air T.V.

If you can get a sub for about $10 per month as suggested above, you better go for it. it will be a while before N3 problem is solved.
You can still aim at 97W and get FTA channels as well.
