REASONS OF WHY THE FREEZING I will try to be more explanatory in the reasonings on the freezing of channels working with IKS system. 1. - First we must be conscious that the secret of NAGRA3 card is in the system of CW BY CHANNEL (CW: WORD CONTROL) ( SPECIAL KEY FOR EACH CHANNEL). Meaning that each channel is working with a different key, but there is an aspect that is more worrisome. 2. - the CW of each channel changes to every 15 seconds in DISH and every 20 seconds in BEV , for that reason BEV channels are those that freezes the less. NOTE: Just make a small experiment : if you have IKS, put your equipment in a codified channel that you are watching , disconnect the cable that goes to the router, and notice that in maximum 15 or 20 seconds the signal will stop, this means that equipment is looking for new key CW of the channel. OK now plug again the cable and in seconds it will take the new one and the image returns. Also when you change one channel to another you notice a little delay in taking the video from the following channel, that's because its looking for the CW of that other channel. 3. - As an example and according to our calculations 10 legally subscribed cards are needed so that up to 2,000 IKS boxes can be working connected and offering around 200 channels without almost no problems. but if we try to connect more than that amount to that same card, the server will not be able to give the desired service and will begin the freezing. FOR EXAMPLE: Nfusion has 124 servers and is the one that has less freezing, for that reason the increase in channels offered is very slow: because they are trying to match the increase of severs with the increase of users and the increase of channels. On the other hand, Sonicview began the other way around.... to impress people, they began offering many channels (more that the NFusion) but they didn't expect the demand to be so explosive when at that moment they only had 3 servers working, so their freezing are more and often. 4. HOW CAN IKS SERVICE BE CORRECTED OR BE IMPROVED? THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO DO IT: A. - First of all its necessary to have the sufficient severs so that the demand does not saturate them. B. - Secondly, we users must have the best and more effective system of Internet, it is of utmost importance to try to obtain the Internet with the greater speed that exists in the market (in USA and CANADA it is of 3-4 Megas) (in EUROPE it is of 5 Megas) these values that I say between parenthesis are minimum standards by law that must have at this moment . C. - Boxes offering IKS will have to increase the bandwidth of their servers as well as its connection speed. NOTE: For this reason your Box must have a fast connection and fast response because if in 15 seconds it can not connect and download the next CW, you will have freezing while it manages to reconnect again. 5. -At the moment there are 2 boxes I-LINK and KBox that are working better than Sonicview with many channels and few freezing, but....its because they are just beginning and there are no more than 1600 of those boxes connected to their servers... SO....What will happen when demand increases?? Will they have same problem as Sonicview?? Listen, there were more than 5,000,000 pirates connected to Bev and Dish in America,Canada and Latino countries....But only 24% have sufficient broadband internet. and of those only one third max are computer savvy, so... when all those people try to connect their IKS boxes, there is no way there will be servers enough to meet that monstrous demand. |

I chat on French Site and in europe there is no better speed than in Canada, Canada is a leader for internet speed. You got a good IKS if you got a good Internet connection and a good support!
