hi everyone, I am trying to set my viewsat using the new circular lnb that can get 118.7 and 119 from the same lnb. I will also be connecting 110 and 61.5. My question is how to get 118.7 show up in the antenna set up menu. I am using switch with 4 input one for each dish and one output that is coming to my receiver. I go in set up and try to activate lnb 4(for 118.7) but it don't have any satellite with that name or position..help plz..do I need to download a new satellite file...thanks for the info..I am just trying to get my satellite ready so that I can be ready when the fix does come..
go to menu dish setting, sat name is 118.8 dish anik f3 lnb power should be on, lnb type single lnb freq 10750 deseqc more likely 2 , and last 2 items should be off, u will see echostar 118 right on top (where it says dish setting on same line) this is for k1plus should be similar to ur rec
You simply scan 118.8W with 119W but use LNB Type on Standard and blindscan with LNB on 10750 then after the scan you put LNB Type on Universal and LNB high 11250 then LNB low 10750.
Or you can do a factory default and load the satellite info from viewsatusa.com for your box then scan all satellites with respective name.
