I have PANSAT 2800 and how do I put in the keys to my receiver..I haven't had to do it earlier..Please let me know..I am using the 411 bin and looks like I have to upload the keys manually for channels to work..thnx
You go to the CAS Menu. Two ways to get there. The shortcut is to enter 8282 with the remote then start at step 4 below. The second way to the CAS is steps 1-3 below.
1- press menu on remote
2- use channel down key, scroll down to "parental control" press ok
3- use channel down key, scroll down to " second pin" enter 0000
4- use channel down key, scroll down to "autoroll option", press ok.
5- 'keycode' must be 'on', use left or right key <> to change if necessary.
6- 'DN autoroll' should be 'off' , use left or right key <> to change (you can leave this on if a/r is functioning).
7- Hit exit button once and use channel down key, scroll down to nagravision 2, press 'ok'.
8- what you will see is DN provider id 01 01 key number 00
Press the channel down key twice to go to the first line of the Key data numbers.
You will use remote control keys 0-9 for the numbers and use epg, sat, last...keys for the A, B, C, D, E, F letters. Look at the list at the bottom of the screen for reference.
Type in the first eight sets of numbers using the latest updated keys
XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX, press channel down to second line and change these
XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX, press ok to save.
Press channel up to key number 00, press right key > once, you will see the number 01. Press the channel down twice and enter the 01 numbers on the appropriate lines as above. Press ok to save. Press exit three times
