New member Username: YamahamaPost Number: 1 Registered: Jun-04 | I am having trouble getting my RX-V540 to receive/play a DVD in the DTS mode. I have tried several DTS recorded cds, and two different DVD players, but no luck. The player is supposed to automatically receive/output in DTS if it receives the signal. I have tried to manually select DTS on the front of the receiver, but no audio is outputted. I am using a 5.1 speaker system, with 4 JBLs, a center JBL, and a subwoofer. Any suggestions? Thanks. |
Anonymous | I had the same problem with my Harman Kardon receiver. You have to select the DTS audio channel on the DVD player first. You can do that by: 1. turning on the TV and selecting the DTS channel via the on screen display of the DVD player, or.. 2. by pressing the button usually tagged 'audio' on the remote of the DVD player. Once that is selected, it will pass on the DTS signal to your receiver. Hope this helps. Andrew life38@zonnet.nl |
