How will Nag 3 debut?

I'm looking to get a new Viewsat since my current one died, but whats the point if we still need newer receivers that come out with Nag 3, only makes sense to wait for those and spend money on. |

Haha's know nothing and push always his viewsonic because he sell this receiver. MaxHD is 1080p turbo ready and you can replace the video card in regard with new MPEG 4 H.264 who provide 2 and more channels on one channel. Or buy a NFusion the only box who is able to provide N3 on Bev and surely Dn.  |

Otherwise get the $135 SV 360 FTA box and U will always get some free TV, at least $135 worth of free programming ...and save a ton of $$ for a new receiver when N3 is cracked... Personally, I suggest doing BOTH...sub share AND get a new FTA box..then ya always have TV for sure, and cheap too.. |

I still use my SV360 to get FTA channels especially from Hispasat. They have, by the way, Qatar TV 1 and 2 that both run 24h a day and they are almost entirely BBC programming in English subtitled in arabic !!!! For spending money on yet scarce solutions, I just think it is wise to wait and see what else beside Nfusion is going to be available. One sure thing.... the ones that will come up with solutions will be hungry for money. I mean a lot. They will want to sell new hardware, new card shares, new software.... With everyone loosing their jobs and their homes, I am not sure everyone will be tempted to burn their money on testing. Have you been at the grocery store lately ? Just my gloomy predictions.... I may be totally wrong. |

For local channels I made a Outdoor antenna which I can listen all local with a very good quality, but i'm still wait for Local Digital TV until complete for get better quality. Never I will paid for TV service because with a 500$ investment you pay for 1 time and not on 70$ month as before. Next dish is 4' with a good HD receiver for get HD Free to Air. I still wait to see if N3 will be broke. |

Bronze Member Username: Tdti1Post Number: 95 Registered: Mar-05 | No Viewsat Max has been reviewed and is very poor, no dvb-s2 and no 4:2:2 to enjoy the most get a 10'-12' dish for c/ku-band. Best HD receivers so far have been the Cxxlsat 8000/8100, Digiwave 9000 and the Pansat 9000 all with dvb-s2 out the box, a pc with card and one of these receivers is nice, not one does blind scan though they all decode AC3 audio direct, the Pansat 9200 does blind scan but needs a board for dvb-s2, sadly once the board is added there is no blind scan on the dvb-s2, plus the tuner is not as good as the praised 9000 model, Pansat claims they will fix the blind scan on dvb-s2 for the 9200 but... |

My receivers are Traxis 3500, Digiwave 9000 4dtv dsr 922, and Pansat 2500. I use a Digiwave for my s2, and a older model pci card for 4:2:2, I don't think you can blindscan on a pci card, I am looking for a new card myself and was thinking about the TechnoTrend S2-3200 PCI card but still debating. |

Many feeds my Traxis picks up, others my buddies find with special equipment, and I also go to a private site for additional info. |
