I tried to do the same thing with my programmer a Mikobu III but wouldn't touch the card. When the flash comes out I can do them then. He has some kind a home made programmer. But all I can say is that it worked, don't know the science behind that. | |

Personally I would use 3msprivatedss.com very trust worthy site and is not a scam. Programs are jam up. The guy is very price competive and quick to respond. When a fix is available he will have it. With hu programs weren't down no more than 3 hrs if that long. Also when you subscribe within 1 to 3 hrs. you will have a program in your email waiting and your personl id and password. Supposed to be self explanatory and very simple operation. Yes Dork I miss WWE and UFC and all my boxing. I read the part about the Mik 3 on that web site from that dude Jay Jay posted above. The p4 p5 loader is a simple ISO programmer though pay it no mind. But In one of the links I read about how with the UL4S flash that you can program dish with it. That is all it said. Haven't seen any more info about it. Mine is flashed already with ul4s if I had some dish stuff I would give it a whirl but I have never screwed around with dish before. |

Here is what the results were(This Is A C&P): Before I go on calling this the P4 hack, let me re-phase it as being the P4 Workaround. I think this is a great temporary solution rather than a permanent solution. I would like to thank Now here is the deal. First of all this works with Virg. P4 / D1 Cards. What does virg. mean? Means your card isn't married to your receiver and you get EXT 711 on all channels except preview channels. I ordered a unit from them and as part of the order I had to give them my CAM ID. This was on Monday. 1 Day later (Tuesday) I received a unit which looks identical to a No745 board. Then I contacted them for instructions to activate my P4 and they told me to... Then I contacted them for instructions to activate my P4 and they told me to place my P4 on channel 100 for a couple of hours until the card starts to receive channels. (202..203..etc) I was also instructed to place the card into the unit they sent me and to place the unit into the receiver. All day my card stayed 711. Then finally at around midnight my card received all the channels except for the PPV channels. So I placed the card into the bootstrap. I did a system test and noticed that what the receiver thinks is a cam does not match with my card. The PPV will need to be wiped once I reach my limit. They promised to send me a PPV Wipe software which works with an ISO this week. They mentioned their beta of the PPV Wipe only works with P4's and not P5's. --------- Insert my speculation as to what happened here. I gave them my CAM ID so that they could somehow activate my card. My guess is they would call DTV order a package on my card and then cancel it within a day or two. This sounds like a big job to do if they have lots of customers. Once my card got activated I put in the unit which is basically a No745 board which tells the IRD I'm using a different CAM. Since the package will be canceled, EOS (End of Service) packets will come down. But receiver doesn't know my real CAM ID because of the No745 board so it will ignore the EOS packets. Now what happens when the tiers expires? I'm guessing that they are pointing these boards to a platinum sub CAMID so it continues to receive all channels. Problem here is if DAVE gets a hold of the unit it could cause trouble for the cam being used. I'm still not 100% sure on what the deal is with the cam they are using to get the latest tiers or if it even gets the latest tiers. You will have to wait 55 days before I can tell you that for sure :P. United States Post Number: 41 Registered: May-04 | Well what I gather is that you call direct tv and get a card activated but apparently it must be in the no 745 before you call and in the receiver. Call and have the platinum subscription put on the card. Then after the first month bill have it cancelled. Beings it is in the board they can't blacklist the bin and theoratically you still have tv.. Except by doing it that what you don't have ppv but everything else. Or if you do windup with ppv you don't have a way to wipe the ppv when filled up. Thats how I think we could do it ourselves. To the guy about the cable: If you can't find anything go to search and type in cable descramblers and it will give you quite a few to choose from. Personally I like the one that works digital or analog for 219.00 not a bad price. |

I talked to a guy who claims he has a friend at direct tv, he told me dssware and dssrookie are sites that belong to dave. I don't know if this is true but I thought I would pass it along. He also said direct tv could talk to the new Sony boxes, even if you don't have a telephone line going to them. Does anyone know if they can talk to the SBH Hughes boxes. I enjoy this form and have been reading all the posts for the past month. Walter Brown- keep up the good work, you seem to be the most knowledgable person on the forum. Hope this info is corect. If the hu stream is down and just like everyone else I know who had a legal p3 hu card. They had to change their cards to the p4 and p5 when the final message came up and the screen went black. But yesterday I was helping this old man who is handicapped do some work and I look and seen Dtv at his house. I asked was he legal and he said Yes for two years now. What puzzling is that he has never switched his card and he said it was a p3. So what is so damn special about his subscription and or box and card. I had to change mine and all my contacts and lost my valid bins because of it. So I wonder if I go back next weekend and copy his info and put it on my last open 3m with his bin that is still working If I will have tv. Because they didn't knock out the script just the stream and if his card is working like he said, Well, then with his info patched with my script they should be tv. He has no reason to lie he is an old man with a church going background and an honest streak tall as a pine tree. Unless he has mistaken the type of card he has. When I try it I will report back. |

If you bought the card and was told it was a virg. Then you got shafted. But not to worry the so called new programmer will unloop the card which in return should fix your whole dilema.
