hello! Im having problem getting very good signal in my pansat 2500 converted. but my 110 signal is excellent. i used to have them in the same dish and 119 still low signal about 40% so i decided to separate the dish I used for 119 is 30 inches and i used for 110 is 18 . my 110 have a good quality and my 119 have only 40 % max. I used satellite finder to get the 119 and registerd there about 90% signal. but when i connect in the box the wire it goes only 40%I want to know whats the problem?[/u]is it may be the box problem? or file problem?
If you have two separate dishes, you need a DisEqC switch. Do you have one? have checked that the antenna setting is switch id the same a physical connections?
yes i have I try also to direct the wire from 119 to the receive the signal still the samei just put the wire directly still low about 54% in 12239 tp do you think i still move my dish or i will not touch it and trust what it says in satellite finder reading? and change a box? Thanks!
Check your skew. What is your location? I am in Ohio and I Only get about 60% quality on 119 with one of my dishes. I believe it is the dish alignment.
im from montreal but when i get the signal of 119 i borrow my friends satelite finder it registered 91% from lnb of 119 to the satelite finder. and when hook it up in my receiver the signal is 54% the max but i can watch some 119 channles. thnaks!
Dormy, Try changing your LNB type to Standard in the settings. See if that makes a difference on TP 12239. If that does not help maybe your cable is poor. J
theres a tree but a about 20 meters away aits not a tree because i have excellent signal in 110. in in the satellite finder gadget it registered aroung 90's the the signal
i set one up once, had perfect signal on 110, took me a couple hrs to figure out a tree was in the way for 119. I moved it about 3 feet, had them both within 5 mins. I have never used a sat finder. just the settings for dish 500 and a compass.
