Viewsat fixes do not work

Turn it off from back to reboot, and nightrider eyes return. Just sits on AUTO ROLL even if can get new bin on. what a crummy day! IT'S OVER! |

Gold Member Username: PlymouthCanada Post Number: 7819 Registered: Jan-08 | For all viewsat users I had say it many time, do a factory default then go on viewsatusa.com and load the factory bin, the satellite info and the latest bin, Whit it your receiver is like a brand new, if you not do it your receiver can lost all channels. Another thing, if you see that the receiver is slow, just reload the latest bin and it will work fine. |

I still have no tv except for my trusty cw 600 p that is working great. BTW I was not one of the suckers that traded in for the 650, I stuck with the 600 premium. For me loading the factory bin was not needed. |

This causes night rider eyes! i reload old bin, shut off from back- it is fine. It is only the new bin that does not allow you to do a reset. If you just load it and watch- fine. Sucks for my friend, cause he comes to my house to get his receiver programmed!! Working here- just don't shut off switch AFTER sending bin. Viewsat Platinum BTW. |

The other 2 Plats took the bin without any problem and are still up since 12:30 Eastern. Sorry that I did not mention this before. VSprv7000 is also working flawlessly with 090227 bin. Both bins came from Ftahq before noon today. |

Bronze Member Username: VacarosiePost Number: 60 Registered: Aug-07 | I try this from fta4allnet and it works for me in Viewsat platinum: whoknows whoknows is offline Registered Member Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 13 whoknows is on a distinguished road Following instructions from previous thread here is a summation of what worked for me. -shut recever off with front power button -shut receiver off with back switch -loaded 0227 file with cable as normal -after load complete, allowed receiver to turn on itself back to the 00.00 display -waited until 3 minutes had passed and the display showed 00.03 -shut receiver off with back switch -unplugged all hookups -reconnected to TV -turned on with back switch, took about 4 seconds and it went from four dash display to the 00.00 -turned power on from front button...worked -put on channel 140, don't think it really matters what channel -autorolled in about 5-7 minutes |

Just because the Loader says DONE doesn't mean squat! You need to wait for the VS window to say END, then wait for it to roll to all 0s. |

The others all gone over to nagra 3. Notably AAjtak, HT, Star, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and other Indian regional languages are gone to Nagra 3. |
