Anyone tried out Freesat+ yet? They're saying it's got all the features of Sky+ (If not the channels!) with series record and pause/rewind live TV etc.

I've only found one set-top box so far the Humax Foxsat at about £300. We've just moved to an area where we can't get Freeview anymore so this seems like this might be our only option.

I think it needs a special dish to be installed too though.

Anyone with experience setting this up who can give me advice would be greatly recieved.

Cheers,
Rob

Rob: How's the weather in Brighton. I miss it since leaving England in 2005.
This forum is mostly North American oriented. I suggest you post your query in a UK or Europe based forum.

Oops, a newbie's got lost in Cyberspace again!

Hi Nalin Nyda,
Brighton's been cold recently with lots of snow (always funny seeing snow on the beach!)
Although I still reckon we get 70 more sunny days a year than London does. Even though London's only 50 miles away.

Hope North America's treating you well, I'm off to find a local forum.

I lived in Mitcham for a while and made frequent trips to Brighton and then sometimes along the coast to Southampton.
I heard about the London snow - pity, as we Brits say it.
