72 amc help

New member Username: Nuno1975Post Number: 9 Registered: Mar-07 | I have pointed my dish to 72 amc, i have great signal but when i try scan with my viewsat ultra i cant scan the channels because it shows up as if i have no signal, hoping for some help. Thanks |

Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York Citay in-HD, NY Post Number: 3997 Registered: Oct-06 | Are yo trying to get AMC-6 at 72W or Echo star at 72.7W? 72.7W is all N3 yo won't be able get it If yor trying to get 72W there is only 2 channels in Ku KFTL-CA and Gospel Broadcast Yo could be getting signal from those 2 The rest of the channels are for South America It requires extended Ku LNB and larger dish There is no specific footprints to them What channels are yo looking for? |

If yor looking for channels from Argentina thare are other satellites yo are able to get 19" dish can only get yo circular polarity on pay service Most of them switched to Nagra3 |

King Tapeman The rest of the channels are for South America It requires extended Ku LNB and larger dish There is no specific footprints to them Not true, you will need more then what King is telling you. You will need a C-band setup. Ku would only give you one I said one channel on AMC 6 @72.oW Pull up this Link and see for yourself. http://www.lyngsat. com/amc6.html Here is the Foot Print for North America.......................... Ku  Here is the Foot Print for C-band as you can see on the Foot Print for South America it's only Spot Beam is on Venezuela and Columbia which will require an 8 to 10 foot Dish. Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York Citay in-HD, NY Post Number: 4002 Registered: Oct-06 | FTAss This is the foot prints of a Ku Beam But 72W has many other TPs unspecified beam For example freq 11546 it just says beam This means Sat owners did not submit beam foot prints And usually anything less than 11700 is for Europe or South America Not for North America I'm 110% sure 11546 is an extended Ku so it must have another beam name Freq like 11890 is a Ku beam Therefore Ku foot prints apply Freq like 4040 is a C Beam Therefore C foot prints apply This is totally not for 13 years old pre-beginners like yorself Totally out of yor league So I suggest when masters like me speak Yo sit back and learn quietly Got that Aribian boi? Don't worry yo'll understand that 5 years from now when yo become 18 years old |

Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York Citay in-HD, NY Post Number: 4003 Registered: Oct-06 | Can yo fu*cking believe that Plymouth The FTAss is teaching me (the engineer) how to read foot prints Well if yo had 1/2 brain FTAss Yo click on the column that says beam It has a hyper link takes yo to foot prints Here is a little exercise for yo FTAss: Find the hyper like for the following: Freq 11890 (click on Ku hyper link) Freq 4040 (click on C hyper link) Freq 11546 (click on beam link) Yo gonna say oops There is no link That's when yo find out yor so stupid for not using yor 1/2 brain If yo don't belive yo naturally born stupid Then try to fu*cking scan it Ooop Yor North American LNB can't go below 11700 That's when yor 100% certain that yor real natural Now Do yo know why we all call yo FTAss?  |
