Best HD reciever in terms of video quality?

I've narrowed down my choices to the MAX, 9000, and the Sonicview. Is there a difference in terms of video quality in these boxes? And if there is, which one has better video quality? Thanks! |

The Viewsat 9000 was discontinued, cause it was garbage...and replaced by this VS Max which is no better, and a cheap 9000 knock off... ALL HD receivers NEED an ADD ON (costs more and is added on by you or the dealer) 8PSK board to get Dishnet HD channels... Some people here (plymouth and others)MISLEAD U into thinking that the 8PSK board is a standard feature and no extra charge...but thats Bullsh*it... Ya want HD, Sonicview 8000 is tops of the list in all ways! |

Here is the good setting Use Echo 7 LNB Type: Universal LNB High: 11250 LNB Low: 10750 or 10600 Tp freq: 12239 Use this setting for aimed your dish and be sure that you see Echo 7 in right corner. Now do a blind scan.  |

This includes a thread where you were posting recently. Perhaps you should do a search on this item on this forum. You will find at least 20 threads in the last two months. |

I stop rightaway and SCREW everything !!! When I entered in house... I went on Antenna set up. the Signal % was 94%. Quality % was 20% Echostar 7 119 WEst Standard 11250 Off with no pointing at the top of screen. I did a Auto Scan and some American channels were working.. and only Max and Zee Cine are working as Indian channels... But No} Star PLus, no star one etcc !!!.. said to wife '' accept these two chanels for today !!, better these two than Nathing".. Plymouth.. yeh .. c bein bein fret en criss !!!.. c'est lenfer !!!... se mettre dehors sous cette temperature... meme 2 biere, ou 4 whisky sur moi...ca n'a pas d'effet !!!. telment qu'on gele !!! This Viewsat distributor give VS Xtreme , Platinum and Ultra Lite discontinued and we all know that the Ultra lite is not discontinued, one give 9000HD out of stock.LOL |
