The LNB that gets the 119 is the same that will get you 118.7 Anik F3. You have not answered me whether your Ultra is a recent model with a separate slate for Anik F3 or not. Recommended setup: Copy the settings as they are in the 119 to the Anik F# slate or if that is not available copy to Anik F2 slate, except that the LNB freq should be 10750. And do NOT copy the TPs. Some Ultras do not have a Blind scan '" if so you may have to copy all the TPs for 118.7 (Anik F3) from Lyngsat*com. IN any case make sure that the first TP in the TP list is 11715 (V) SR 20000 If you have blind scan available, do a Blind scan of Anik F# or Anik F@ that you have set up. If there is no blind scan, do a scan all and you should get all the ANIK F3 channels. If you have added all the channels from the lyngsat sites, it will simplify your understanding. HAPPY VIEWING. |

The standard 119 LNB was used by some to get the `118.7, from the same output port and is effective up to a point. Otherwise the official DN LNB for 118/119 has two separate outputs for 118 and 119. Therefore in the Antenna setup you have to set up two separate Diseqc ports according to how they are connected. With the generic special LNBs, such as CB2008A and DGL1189s, there are two output ports for two receivers. Each output has both 118 and 119, so in the antenna setup, the same DisEqc port connection applies to both Anik F3 and Echo 7 |

PLYMOUTH gave me a file, which I loaded on my Viewsat ultra 2000. and I got the Anik F3. it was something like VIEWSAT_ULTRA_V0143 ASk PLYMOUTH he will give you the file. in the m,eantime I will look for it and will be back to give you. OK. |
