Our TV is about a year and a half old and we've already had it fixed twice before the 1-yr warranty ran out. Now when you turn it on, it turns on and off approx. 3 times before it is really on. The picture usually comes on fine at that point but occasionally you get the green screen. It has also occasionally reset itself back to factory settings as part of this. The on-and-off used to be occasional but is now almost every time you turn on the TV. We'd appreciate any suggestions you have. Thanks.
sounds perhaps like a circuit board is defective in the set. if you get it repaired or replaced, I'd suggest selling that set and looking into a different brand or technology for your next TV.
try this -SYMPTOM: TV keeps trying to turn on over and over and over again...may eventually turn on -FIX: on the power supply board, change CS860& CM860 from 1500UF 10V to 2200UF 16V PN#2401-000698, also check the 1000UF Caps on the board for swelling
